〈録音〉相模湖交流センター 2012年9月19−20日

かつては「悲篥」とも綴られた楽器である「篳篥（ひちりき）」。その音は、人が悲しみ­のあまり搾り出す声にも似ている。しかし一方では強烈な生命力に満ち、力強い音によっ­て聴き手に心の安らぎを与えてきた雅楽の中心的な楽器でもある。その独特の音色に長く­寄り添ってきた篳篥奏者・中村仁美の最新作である当盤は、原発事故で避難を余儀なくさ­れた福島県飯舘村に捧げられた作品をふくむ7作品のほか、古来伝わる雅楽である「盤渉­調調子（ばんしきちょうのちょうし）」を収録。古から今日へと続く幾千幾万の悲しみや­怒り、そして未来への希望を一本の篳篥に託した、畢生（ひっせい）の一枚。

中村 仁美（篳篥、大篳篥、歌）
大学時代に雅楽と出会い、篳篥・楽箏・左舞などを学ぶ。古典だけでなく、現代作品や即興演奏にも積極的に取り組み、篳篥のもつ力強さと、繊細で滑らかな美しさを生かした演奏を開拓している。他ジャンルとの共演機会も多い。リサイタル「葦の声」(1992～)「葦の風」(2003～)では、それまでほとんどなかった篳篥のソロ曲やアンサンブル曲を多数委嘱初演。ミュージック・フロム・ジャパン音楽祭、ウルティマ現代音楽祭、MITO音楽祭など海外での音楽祭にも多数参加し、コロンビア大学(米)では2006年より毎年演奏会と指導を行う。2010年松尾芸能賞新人賞受賞。雅楽演奏団体「伶楽舎」メンバー。CD「ひちりき萬華鏡」(ALM)。国立音楽大学、沖縄県立芸術大学非常勤講師。http://www.gagaku.jp/hitomi-hichiriki/

Hitomi Nakamura (hichiriki, large hichiriki, and vocals)
Upon being introduced to Gagaku during college, Hitomi Nakamura studied the hichiriki, gakusō (Gagaku koto), samai (bugaku dances of the Left – Chinese origin), etc. Actively taking up not only the classics but also contemporary works and improvisation, she has developed a performance style that takes advantage of the strength and the delicate and smooth beauty of the hichiriki. She also has had many opportunities to collaborate with musicians of other genres. During her recitals “Ashi no Koe (Reed Voice)” (1992-) and “Ashi no Kaze (Reed Wind) (2003-), Hitomi Nakamura premiered many commissioned solo and ensemble pieces for the hichiriki that were rarely performed until then. She has also participated in many overseas music festivals such as the Music From Japan Festival, Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, and MITO Music Festival. In 2006, she started teaching and giving annual performances at Columbia University. In 2010, she was awarded the Matsuo Geino Newcomer Prize. She is a member of “Reigakusha,” a Gagaku performance group. She has released a CD titled Hichiriki Kaleidoscope” (ALM). She is also a part-time lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music and Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts.
