武満徹作曲賞第1位、A.ツェムリンスキー作曲賞第1位受賞作曲家が自作自演によりピアノで描き出す美しき減衰の諸相。

音が立ち上がり、空間を漂い、そして、様々な交感を経てやがて消え入る瞬間までの美しく多様な響きの様態（減衰の諸相）を掬い取ること。それは、つまり音を組織（構造）化することではなく、音を純化し、その内部に存在する秩序をこそ探索していくこと　― 前田克治

前田克治
1970年、兵庫県神戸市に生まれる。大阪音楽大学、同大学院修士課程にて作曲を近藤圭に師事。
これまでに、《絶え間ない歌～オーケストラのための》により第3回武満徹作曲賞第1位（1999、審査員：L.ベリオ）、《反射の様相～2台のピアノを伴うオーケストラのための》により第1回アレクサンダー・ツェムリンスキー作曲賞第1位（1999、シンシナティ）、《両端の存在なきアイダ～9奏者のための》によりクラングフォーラム・ウィーン国際作曲コンペティション入選（1998、ウィーン）等、受賞多数。作品は、東京交響楽団、トスカーナ・オーケストラ等の演奏団体や個人によって演奏されているほか、秋吉台国際20世紀音楽セミナー＆フェスティバル、ブカレスト国際現代音楽週間等、国内やヨーロッパ、アメリカ、韓国各地の音楽祭で取りあげられている。近年は、ピアニストとしても自作自演を中心にソロやアンサンブル活動を展開。その他、英国の現代トロンボーンの異才バリー・ウェッブを迎えた「高知バリー・ウェッブMusic Project 2016」（東日本大震災追悼公演を含む2公演）等の企画制作やアウトリーチ等、その活動は多岐にわたっている。
現在、高知大学教育学部教授。

Katsuji Maeda
Katsuji Maeda was born in Kobe in 1970 and studied composition under Kei Kondō at Osaka College of Music.
In 1999 he was awarded first prize at the 3rd Tōru Takemitsu Composition Awards for Uninterrupted Song for orchestra for which Luciano Berio served as one of the adjudicators and at the 1st Alexander Zemlinsky Composition Competition in Cincinnati for Reflections for orchestra with two pianos. His work Ryōtan no sonzai naki aida for nine players was selected for inclusion in the international composition competition sponsored by Klangforum Wien in Vienna in 1998. His works have been performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra della Toscana and many other ensembles and players and have been included in the Akiyoshidai International 20th Century Music Seminar and Festival, the Bucharest International Contemporary Music Week and many other musical festivals in Japan, Europe, the United States and South Korea. In recent years he has begun working also as pianist in a solo and ensemble capacity in performances of his own music. His wide-ranging activities have also included the planning of events such as the Kōchi Barrie Webb Music Project 2016 featuring the outstanding British contemporary trombonist Barrie Webb, which included two concerts, one in memory of the victims of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake, and further outreach activities.
He currently serves as professor in the Faculty of Education at Kōchi University.
