現代声楽曲のスペシャリストとして唯一無二の活動を展開するバリトン、松平敬の4thソロアルバムは、これまでのアルバムではほぼ無かったバリトンとピアノという一般的な歌曲編成を中心に構成された、いわば「21世紀の日本歌曲名曲選」。いずれも傾向を異にする12の作品に編み込まれた「音と言葉」の多彩なグラデーションが、松平の正統的な声楽技術と変幻自在の声によって圧倒的な解像度でリアライズされ、聴き手の身体、思考、情動、そのすべてに語りかける。耳の離せなくなる驚異の作品集。

松平敬（まつだいら・たかし） バリトン
愛媛県宇和島市生まれ。東京芸術大学卒業、同大学院修了。現代声楽曲のスペシャリストとして、湯浅譲二、松平頼曉、高橋悠治、近藤譲、西村朗、中川俊郎、川島素晴など150曲以上の作品を初演、クセナキス、シュトックハウゼンなど、演奏至難な作品の日本初演も行う。これまでサントリーホール・サマーフェスティバル、新国立劇場、国立劇場、コンポージアム（東京オペラシティ財団）、東京・春・音楽祭、Just Composed（横浜みなとみらいホール）、草津夏期国際音楽アカデミー&フェスティヴァルなどに出演。自主企画公演においては、無伴奏独唱曲ばかりを集めたリサイタル、東京23区の区歌・愛唱歌の全曲演奏、音響詩の演奏など、独創的なプログラミングが話題を呼んでいる。CD録音においても、一人の声の多重録音を駆使した『MONO=POLI』（平成22年度文化庁芸術祭レコード部門優秀賞）など（本盤以前に）3枚のアルバムを発表。チューバの橋本晋哉氏とのユニット「低音デュオ」名義でもコジマ録音より2枚のCDをリリース。2019年には、シュトックハウゼンのほぼ全作品を網羅した著書『シュトックハウゼンのすべて』（アルテス・パブリッシング）を出版。第32、34回ミュージック・ペンクラブ音楽賞受賞（研究・評論部門、及び現代音楽部門）。現在、聖徳大学、文教大学、武蔵野美術大学の各非常勤講師。

中川俊郎（なかがわ・としお） 作曲家、ピアニスト。
桐朋学園大学作曲科卒業。作曲を三善晃、ピアノを末光勝世、森安耀子各氏に師事。〈Music Today '82〉国際作曲コンクール第１位。1988年村松賞、2010年第28回中島健蔵音楽賞受賞。他にCM音楽界においても「ACC賞」等受賞多数。東芝EMIから、自作のサントリー「烏龍茶CM曲シリーズ」を収録したCD『chai』、『cocoloni utao』などを、またフォンテックからCD管弦楽作品選集『沈黙の起源』、299 MUSICからピアノ作品集『メッセージ／佐藤祐介×中川俊郎』をリリース。日本現代音楽協会理事、日本作曲家協議会常務理事、お茶の水女子大学非常勤講師。

篠田昌伸（しのだ・まさのぶ） 作曲家、ピアニスト
東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科卒業、同大学院修士課程修了。第22、27回日本交響楽振興財団奨励賞、第74回日本音楽コンクール作曲部門第1位、第9回佐治敬三賞、等受賞。06年Just Composed in Yokohama委嘱作曲家。11年武生国際音楽祭にて作品が招待される。近作では、室内楽「Different tunes」シリーズ、合唱曲「言語ジャック」等があり、ピアノ曲「炭酸」は全音楽譜出版社より出版されている。また、ピアニストとして、新作初演、声楽、器楽とのアンサンブル、レコーディング等、幅広く活動している。

工藤あかね（くどう・あかね） ソプラノ
東京藝術大学卒業。サントリー芸術財団「サマーフェスティバル」、「Tokyo experimental festival」、「テッセラ音楽祭」、「Tête à Tête The Opera Festival（ロンドン）」、「ダ・ヴィンチ音楽祭 in 川口」、「草津夏期国際音楽アカデミー＆フェスティバル」、「MFJ音楽祭（ニューヨーク）」、などに古楽からオぺラ、現代音楽に至る作品で出演。新作初演も多く手がける。シェーンベルク/シュタイン編「月に憑かれたピエロ」の世界初録音がレコード芸術にて特選盤。第1回一柳慧コンテンポラリー賞を受賞。ヒロイン役を歌ったレロイ作曲のオペラ「THE鍵KEY」が佐治敬三賞を受賞。

Takashi Matsudaira baritone
Born in Uwajima City in Ehime Prefecture, Takashi Matsudaira completed both undergraduate and graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. As a specialist in contemporary vocal music, he has premiered more than 150 works by composers such as Joji Yuasa, Yori-Aki Matsudaira, Yuji Takahashi, Jo Kondo, Akira Nishimura, Toshio Nakagawa and Motoharu Kawashima et al, and has given the Japanese premieres of works of extreme technical difficulty by composers such as Iannis Xenakis and Karlheinz Stockhausen. To date, he has performed at the Suntory Hall Summer Festival, The New National Theater Tokyo, The National Theater of Japan, Composium (Tokyo Opera City), Spring Festival in Tokyo, Just Composed (Yokohama Minatomirai Hall), Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy & Festival et al. His self-promoted concerts have attracted attention thanks to their original programming, as such a recital featuring the anthems of all of Tokyo’s 23 Wards and other favorites, recitals of sound poetry etc. His past three recordings have also been well received, such as ‘MONO=POLI’, in which he mastered the technique of overdubbing, which won the 2010 Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Record Award. He has also released two albums of the Kojima Recordings label together with the tuba player Shinya Hashimoto, collaborating under the name ‘teionduo’. He has written an overview of nearly all the works of Karlheinz Stockhausen entitled ‘Karlheinz Stockhausen’ (Artes Publishing) in 2019. He won the 32nd and 34th Music Pen Club Awards (research/critique section and contemporary music section). At present he is a part-time lecturer at Seitoku University, Bunkyo University and Musashino Art University.

Toshio Nakagawa composer, pianist
A graduate of Toho Gakuen University in composition studies, Toshio Nakagawa studied composition with Akira Miyoshi and piano with Katsuyo Suemitsu and Yoko Moriyasu. He won first prize in the Music Today ’82 International Composition Competition, the Muramatsu Award in 1988 and the 28th Nakajima Kenzo Music Award in 2010. He has also won numerous awards for music used in advertising, such as the ACC Award. He has released a number of CDs, such as ‘chai’ and ‘cocoloni utao’ (Toshiba EMI), collection pieces he composed for a series of Suntory Oolong Tea advertisements, ‘The Genesis of Silence’ (Fontec) a selection of his orchestral works, and “Message / Yusuke Sato x Toshio Nakagawa” (299 Music), a collection of piano pieces. At present, he is a director of the Japan Society for Contemporary Music, the Executive director of the Japan Federation of Composers, and a part-time lecturer at Ochanomizu University.

Masanobu Shinoda composer, pianist
Masanobu Shinoda completed both undergraduate and graduate studies in composition at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has won numerous awards and prizes, such as the 22nd and 27th Japan Symphony Foundation Encouragement Awards, first prize in the composition section of the 74th Music Competition of Japan, and the 9th Keizo Saji Prize. In 2006 he was the commissioned composer for ‘Just Composed in Yokohama’, and his compositions were chosen for performance at the 2011 Takefu International Music Festival. Recent works include the series of chamber works ‘Different tunes’, the choral piece ‘Hijacking Logos’, and the piano piece ‘Carbonic Acid’ published by the Zen-On Music Company. He is also active as a pianist giving first performances of new compositions, performing with vocal and instrumental ensembles, collaborating with dancers and making recordings.

Akane Kudo soprano
A graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts, Akane Kudo has performed works in genres from early music to opera to contemporary music in the Suntory Foundation for the Arts Summer Festival, Tokyo Experimental Festival, Tessera Music Festival, Tête à Tête The Opera Festival (London), the Da Vinci Festival in Kawaguchi, Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy & Festival, Music from Japan Festival (New York) et al. She has also premiered numerous new works. Her world premiere recording of ‘Pierrot lunaire’ by Schoenberg/Stein was chosen as a ‘tokusen-ban’ (editor’s choice disk) by the prestigious music magazine Record Geijutsu. She won the first Toshi Ichiyanagi Contemporary Prize. The opera ‘THE鍵KEY’ by Francesca Le Lohé, in which she portrayed the heroine, was awarded the Keizo Saji Prize.
