まだまだ知られているとはいえない作曲家、イグナツィオ・ジーバー（Ignazio Sieber, 1688-1761）。今回取り上げられた６曲からなるリコーダー・ソナタ集は、ジーバーのまとまった作品としては唯一現在確認できるもので、ヴィヴァルディやヴェラチーニからの影響などを受けつつ、当時としては他に類を見ない作品に仕上がっている。このCDが日本初収録となる。

小池耕平（リコーダー）Kohei Koike, recorder

1963年福岡市生まれ。福岡県立修猷館高等学校卒業。九州大学文学部西洋史学科（フランス近世史専攻）卒業。大学在学中から演奏活動を始める。卒業後、桐朋学園大学音楽学部研究科（古楽器科リコーダー専攻）に進み、1989年に修了。リコーダーを花岡和生に師事。有田正広、故本間正史、ワルター・ファン・ハウヴェ、故ブルース・ヘインズらのレッスンも受ける。現在、日本各地において、リコーダーのソリストとしてまたバロック室内楽アンサンブルで演奏会を行なっている。また、小学校の訪問演奏活動も続けている。2007年ヴァイオリンのジーン・キムと韓国公演。2009年の東京リコーダー音楽祭（読売新聞社主催）では8人のリコーダー・ソリストの一人として選ばれ出演。2010年11月にはロンドンのヘンデルハウス博物館のライヴ・ミュージック・シリーズでヘンデルのリコーダー・ソナタ全曲演奏。長らく東京を拠点にしていたが2016年秋より福岡在住。NHK文化センター福岡リコーダーアンサンブル講師。まなびすと春日リコーダーアンサンブル講師。富山古楽協会リコーダー講師。これまでにCD「G.Ph.テレマン：リコーダーソナタ全曲」（ALCD-1059）、「Flauto Diritto イタリアの道」（ALCD-1091）、「ヘンデル：リコーダー・ソナタ集」（ALCD-1137）をALM Recordsよりリリース。

鴨川華子（チェンバロ） Hanako Kamogawa, harpsichord
大阪府に生まれる。東京音楽大学ピアノ科を経て、同大学研究科チェンバロ専攻修了。チェンバロを渡邊順生、アンサンブルを宇田川貞夫の各氏に師事。第9回国際古楽コンクール〈山梨〉最高位入賞。第7回栃木［蔵の街］音楽祭賞受賞。1998年ブルージュ国際古楽コンクール入選。現在、ソリストおよび通奏低音奏者として活躍している。「ジョーバン・バロック・アンサンブル」メンバー。

山本 徹（バロック・チェロ）Toru Yamamoto, baroque cello
東京藝術大学、同大学院古楽専攻及びチューリヒ芸術大学修了。チェロを土肥敬、河野文昭、北本秀樹、鈴木秀美、ルール=ディールティーンスの各氏に師事。東京藝術大学バッハカンタータクラブにて小林道夫氏の指導のもと研鑽を積む。「バッハ・コレギウム・ジャパン」「オーケストラ・リベラ・クラシカ」をはじめ主要な国内外のオリジナル楽器オーケストラのメンバーとして定期公演・録音・海外ツアーに多数参加している。2006年第20回国際古楽コンクール〈山梨〉第2位、2008年第16回ライプツィヒ国際バッハ・コンクール第2位。2011年ブルージュ国際古楽コンクール審査員賞、及びファン・ヴァッセナール国際コンクール優勝。

Kohei Koike, recorder
Kohei Koike was born in 1963 in Fukuoka City, Japan. He read 17th century French history at the Kyushu　University. Starting his career as a recorder soloist in his college days, he continued his study of early music and recorder solo and baroque ensemble performance at Toho-Gakuen College of Music under Kazuo Hanaoka, Masahiro Arita and Masashi Homma. He learned recorder technique under Walter van Hauwe, and music interpretation under the late Bruce Haynes.
Besides giving solo recitals in Tokyo, Fukuoka and other regional cities in Japan, Kohei also has performed in ensemble with acclaimed Japanese musicians such as Masahiro Arita (Fl), Tetsuya Nakano (VG), Masako Hirao (VG), Chiyoko Arita (Cemb), Sakurako Mitsuhashi (Cemb) and Natsumi Wakamatsu (Vn).
In 2007, Kohei performed in Seoul, South Korea with Korean violinist Jin Kim. He was also chosen as one of the eight recorder soloists to perform at the 2009 Tokyo Recorder Festival sponsored by The Yomiuri Shimbun. In 2004, Kohei Koike released his first CD entitled G.Ph.Telemann, Complete Sonatas for Recorder on ALM Records (ALCD-1059), followed by “Flauto Diritto”, La strada d'Italia (ALCD-1091) in 2007 and G.F.Handel, Recorder Sonatas (ALCD-1137) in 2013.


Hanako Kamogawa, harpsichord
Osaka native Hanako Kamogawa completed her undergraduate piano studies at the Tokyo College of Music, and remained there to specialize in the harpsichord for her post-graduate degree. She studied the harpsichord with Yoshio Watanabe and ensemble with Sadao Udagawa. Hanako won the top prize at the 9th International Competition for Early Music Yamanashi and was awarded the 7th Tochigi Music Festival Award. She was also a prize-winner at the 1998 International Competition Musica Antiqua which took place in Bruges. At present, she is active as a soloist and a continuo player, and is a member of the Joban Baroque Ensemble.

Toru Yamamoto, baroque cello
Toru Yamamoto plays regularly with many leading orchestras and ensembles with historical instruments in Japan, namely Bach Collegium Japan, Orchestra Libera Classica, Les Boreades. He was awarded quite many prizes such as 2nd prize at the Yamanashi Early Music Competition Japan in 2006, 2nd prize at 16th International Bach-Leipzig Competition in 2008, Honorable mention at MA competition in Brugge, Belgium 2011 and 1st prize at International Van Wassenaer Competition, Amsterdam 2011 with Den Haag Piano Quintet. Toru started to study the cello with Takashi Dohi, and studied with Fumiaki Kouno, Hideki Kitamoto, and Hidemi Suzuki at Tokyo National University of Arts. From 2010 to 2013, Toru studied with Roel Dieltiens at ZHdK (Züricher Hochschule der Künste) with scholarship from Japanese agency for cultural affairs and from Rohm Music Foundation.
