【バロック音楽のガラパゴス】
ドーヴァー海峡を渡ったアイルランドには、大陸側では途絶えてしまったバロック音楽の伝統が息づいていた。17、18世紀に作曲されてから現在まで、楽譜を使わない口伝えの伝承として伝統音楽の演奏家や農夫の間で途切れることなく伝えられてきたアイルランドのバロック音楽には、文献からは決して読み取れない、生きた音楽のかたちが精彩豊かに残され、バロック音楽演奏上のヒントとアイディアの宝庫となっている。そのアイルランドの伝統音楽の世界と深く関わってきた守安功、守安雅子と、大陸側で隆盛を極めたイタリア・バロック音楽に深く傾倒する平井み帆の出会いから聴こえてくるのは、「ドーヴァー海峡の向こう側」に響く、音楽の原点だ。大陸と島国を結び、バロック音楽と伝統音楽の境界を越える、夢のプロジェクトが今ここに実現する！


守安 功（フルート、リコーダー）
　桐朋学園大学古楽器科卒、同研究科修了。在学中、第10回全日本リコーダーコンクール独奏部門最優秀賞、朝日放送賞受賞。リコーダーと並行して、日本の笛も学び、国指定重要無形文化財江戸里神楽若山社中囃子方として活躍する。1990年代初めより、毎年、1年の3分の1ほどアイルランドに滞在し、様々な地方の演奏家たちから教えを受ける。その活動は、ドキュメンタリー番組にもまとめられ、2002年、アイルランド国営放送で放映された。世界初の試みとなる、アイルランドで最も重要な作曲家、ターロック・オキャロラン(1670-1738)の全作品録音プロジェクトを行っている。

平井 み帆（チェンバロ）
　桐朋学園大学ピアノ科卒、同研究科、デン・ハーグ王立音楽院チェンバロ専攻修了。現在、日本各地で演奏活動を行っている。CDに「イタリアへの夢」（レコード芸術誌特撰盤、音楽現代誌推薦盤）、「イタリアへの夢II」（レコード芸術誌特撰盤、2011年レコード・アカデミー賞ノミネート、朝日新聞推薦盤）、「ブクステフーデ：ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバ、チェンバロのためのソナタ全集」（第65回文化庁芸術祭レコード部門優秀賞）などがある。通奏低音奏者としても国内外の多くの演奏家と共演。富山古楽器セミナーの講師を務める他、各地で講習会も行っている。

守安 雅子（アイリッシュ・ハープ、コンサーティーナ、バゥロン）
　アイルランドで出会った音楽家たちの演奏に魅了され、アイルランドの伝統音楽の演奏を始める。ノエル・ヒル、メアリー・マクナマラ、ミホール・オラハリーはじめ、現地の第一線の演奏家と、そして、クレア地方の農夫の演奏家たちの双方から、コンサーティーナの伝統的な奏法を学ぶ。また、マイケル・ルーニー、モーラ・ニ・カハスィ、バーバラ・ドイルにアイリッシュ・ハープを師事する。夫の功とともに、アイルランドにて2枚のアルバムを制作し、現地の新聞、テレビ、ラジオ、雑誌などで取り上げられる。

Isao Moriyasu flute & recorder
Isao Moriyasu completed his studies in the period-instruments course at the Toho Gakuen College of Music, and during his time there he was awarded the top prize at the All-Japan Recorder Competition. Along with the recorder he also studied the Japanese fue flute and worked as a flute and drum player in a Japanese traditional music and dance troupe. Since the early 1990s he has spent 4 months of every year in Ireland, learning from musicians all over the country. His pursuits were highlighted in a documentary broadcast on RTÉ, Ireland’s national television channel, in 2002. Isao is at present in the process of making the first ever recording of the complete works of Ireland’s most important composer, Turlough Ó Carolan (1670-1738).

Miho Hirai harpsichord
After completing her piano studies at the Toho Gakuen College of Music, Miho went on to study the harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She is at present pursuing an active performing career all over Japan. Her recordings include “Sognando l’Italia” (Dreaming of Italy), “Sognando l’Italia II”, both of which won awards from Japan’s major music magazines and newspapers, Buxtehude Sonatas for Violin, Viola da gamba and Harpsichord, which was awarded the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Prize. Miho is also an active continuo player and a teacher, working as a coach at the Toyama Period Instruments Seminar and giving classes and master classes all over Japan.

Masako Moriyasu Irish harp, concertina & bodhrán
Masako Moriyasu began performing Irish traditional music after being captivated by the music performed by musicians she met in Ireland. She studied traditional concertina performance techniques from first-rank local musicians such as Noel Hill, Mary MacNamara and Micheál Ó Raghallaigh, and from rural musicians in County Clare. Masako also studied the Irish harp with Michael Rooney, Maire Ni Chathasaigh and Barbara Doyle. Together with her husband Isao, Masako has produced two albums in Ireland, both of which have been featured in local newspapers, television and radio shows, and magazines etc.
