東京藝術大学で作曲の博士号を取得し、現在は母国の四川音楽学院教授として後進の指導にも情熱を注ぐ作曲家、郭元の室内楽作品集。数々の現代音楽作品を演奏してきた精鋭集団アンサンブル・ノマドをも魅了した現代中国作曲家の音楽世界は、自国の長い歴史に深く根ざした美学と現代の息吹の交差点上に、息の張り詰める峻厳な時間芸術を創出させる。無から有へ、有から無限／夢幻へ、独自の境地を切り拓く大陸の賢才を聴け！

GUO YUAN

　東京藝術大学で作曲博士号を取得、現在は中国四川音楽学院で教授として教鞭をとる。その作曲は、独奏曲、室内楽曲、中国伝統楽器のための曲、交響曲など多岐にわたる。郭の作品は、アメリカ、カナダ、トルコ、ポーランド、オーストリア、日本、韓国などの国々及び香港、台湾などの地区で演奏されている。受賞歴は国内外に渡り、2014年第２回クシシュトフ・ペンデレツキ国際作曲コンクールファイナリスト（ポーランド）、第11回及び第１５回東京国際室内楽作曲コンクール入選、2004年ルトスワフスキ国際作曲コンクール佳作（ポーランド）など数々ある。また、音楽祭においても、2013年にスロバキアとウィーンで開催された「ISCM World New Music Days」(ISCM世界現代音楽の日)、香港の「2013年中国作曲家音楽祭」など数々の選出歴がある。
郭は、音響が出現する前と後の音空間、音響が爆発する瞬間と消滅する瞬間に重きを置く。線と音色による表現を重視し、より簡潔な表現をと追求してやまない。

Ensemble Nomad

　1997年、ギタリスト佐藤紀雄の呼びかけによって集まった、無類の個性豊かな演奏家によって結成されたアンサンブル。「NOMAD」（遊牧、漂流）の名にふさわしく、時代やジャンルを超えた幅広いレパートリーを自在に採り上げ、斬新なアイデアやテーマによるプログラムによって独自の世界を表現するアンサンブルとして内外から注目されてきた。2002年度に行った定期演奏会「ケージとメシアンの間で交わす自然と宇宙に関する往復書簡」は大きな反響をよび、サントリー音楽財団「第２回佐治敬三賞」を、2014年度に行った定期演奏会「再生へVol. 3：祈り～エストニアから震災復興を祈るコンサート」により「ウィーン・フィル＆サントリー音楽復興祈念賞」を受賞した。海外からの招待も多く、2000年オランダの「ガウデアムス音楽週間」、2003年ベネズエラで行なわれた「フェスティバル・アテンポ」、2005年11月パリで行われた「フェスティバル・アテンポ」およびイギリスの「ハダースフィールド現代音楽祭」、2007年にはメキシコの「モレリア音楽祭」、また2008年10月にはソウルでの「パン・ムジーク・フェスティヴァル」などに出演。2009年秋には、中国の北京首都師範大学、北京中央音楽学院、四川音楽学院で中国人作品を中心としたプログラムの公演を行ない、好評を博した。2011年には2度目の韓国公演を開催。2013年7月にはエストニアとオランダで公演を開催。また2014年にはメキシコのセルバンティーノ音楽祭に日本を代表するアンサンブルの１つとして招聘された。今後もスイスやフィンランドなどでの公演を予定している。
　また、近年ではアウトリーチ活動にも積極的に取り組み、保育所、病院、小学校、特別支援学校等で訪問コンサートやワークショップを行なっている。
　CDは、近藤譲「梔子」（ALCD-47）、「空の眺め」（ALCD-57）、「オリエント・オリエンテーション」（ALCD-67）、「表面・奥行き・色彩」（ALCD-93）、石田秀実「神聖な杜の湿り気を運ぶもの」（ALCD-60）、池辺晋一郎「炎の資格」（CMCD-28121）、福士則夫「花降る森」（CMCD-28128）が発売されている。2011年秋にはエベルト・ヴァスケスの「Bestiario（動物寓話集）」が海外でリリースされているほか、最新アルバム「巡る－Meguru」が現在好評発売中である。

上野信一＆パーカッショングループ フォニックス・レフレクション
　マルチ・パーカッショニスト上野信一が国内外で広く活躍するソリストたちと1988年に結成したパーカッション・グループ。毎年コンサートを行ない、2009年には全作品西村朗作曲作品によるコンサート「西村朗　パーカッションの宇宙」、安倍圭子との共演、2010年、2011年には全曲ネボイシャ・ジヴコヴィッチ作曲によるコンサート「打楽器魂」を行ない、2011年にはジヴコヴィッチをゲストに迎え共演。2013年には西村朗のオペラ「バカヴァッド・ギーター」をサントリーホールにて世界初演（2015年4月、NHK - BSで放映）。クロアチア国際打楽器フェスティバル(2013)、ルーマニア国際打楽器フェスティバル(2014)、日本現代音楽協会「春の音楽展」(2015)に出演する等、演奏は国内外で高く評価されている。CD「ウィッシュ」「ケチャ」「ヤントラ：西村朗・パーカッションの宇宙」「打楽器魂：N.J.ジヴコヴィッチ作品集」が発売中(Musica Vivante)、「フォニックス・マリンバ・オーケストラ」(ALM Records) が2015年に発売予定。

Guo Yuan
Guo received a doctorate of composition from Tokyo University of the Arts and is currently a professor at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He has composed solo pieces, chamber music, traditional Chinese instrumental music, symphonic music, and more, and his works have been performed in the US, Canada, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has received prizes domestically and internationally including the following: finalist in the 2nd Krzysztof Penderecki International Composers’ Competition, Poland; merit prize in the 11th and 15th Tokyo International Competitions for Chamber Music Composition, Japan; honorable mention in the “Lutosławski Award 2004” International Composers’ Competition, Poland. His works has been selected for many musical festivals such as the ISCM World New Music Days 2013 held in Slovakia and Vienna, and the 2013 Chinese Composers’ Festival held in Hong Kong. He attaches importance to the state of an acoustic event before and after it emerges as well as its instantaneous explosion and disappearance. He constantly seeks out and emphasizes the simplest way to express through lines and timbres.

Ensemble Nomad
Formed in 1997, Ensemble NOMAD has been highly acclaimed both nationally and internationally as one of the leading ensembles in the world specializing in the 20th-century and contemporary music. Led by Norio Sato (guitarist/conductor), Ensemble NOMAD has brought to life many compositions that are rarely performed but are sure to become 20th- and 21st -century classics. True to its name, Ensemble NOMAD is infinitely flexible and spontaneous in programming the concerts, and the regular concerts, now approaching 50, at Tokyo Opera City have become the "events" that cannot be missed in the contemporary music scene in Japan. For its unique programming and high-quality performance, Ensemble NOMAD was awarded the “KEIZO SAJI Prize” in 2003, and “The Vienna Philharmonic and Suntory Music Aid Award” in 2014 from the Suntory Cultural Foundation.
Ensemble NOMAD’s fields of activity is growing rapidly overseas, starting with the invitation to Amsterdam in autumn 2000 to perform at Gaudeamus Week. Since, the ensemble has made appearances in music festivals in Venezuela, Mexico, France, Belgium, Britain, Korea, China, the Netherlands and Estonia, and future invitations include Finland and Switzerland. In recent years, the ensemble has launched its community engagement programs, in which the ensemble visits schools, nurseries, hospitals and care homes to share the joy of music with those who have limited access to concerts and concert venues.
Ensemble NOMAD’s performance can be heard on CDs. 9 CDs have been released of works by leading Japanese composers, Jo Kondo, Hidemi Ishida, Norio Fukushi and Shinichiro Ikebe. “Bestiario”, a selection of chamber compositions by a Mexican composer Hebert Vazquez was released internationally 2011, and the latest CD album “Meguru” was released in May 2014.

Shiniti Uéno & Percussion Group PHONIX-Réflexion
Percussion Group PHONIX-Réflexion was founded in 1988 by Uéno and young solo percussionists. Its recent activities include concerts with such guests as Keiko Abe and Nevojsa Jovan Zivkovic, participation in the International Percussion Festivals in Croatia (2013) and Romania (2014), as well as CD recordings (“Wish”,” Kecak” , “Yantra: Akira Nishimura Universe of Percussion,” “Souls of Percussion: Works of Nnevojsa Jovan Zivkovic.”). It world-premiered Akira Nishimura’s “Bhagavad Gita” (Suntory Hall, Tokyo, 2013), the TV-opera version of which was broadcasted by NHK-BS in 2015. Its newest CD “Phonix Marimba Orchestra”(ALM Records) is forthcoming in 2015.

　　东京艺术大学作曲博士，现任教于四川音乐学院作曲系，教授。作品体裁丰富，包括交响乐、室内乐、合唱、民族器乐、独奏(唱)等并多次在国际、国内作曲比赛上获得奖项，如：波兰“鲁托斯拉夫斯基奖2004” 国际作曲比赛荣誉奖（2004）；第11、15届东京国际室内乐作曲比赛佳作奖（2006、2010）；波兰第二届克里斯托弗·潘德列斯基国际作曲比赛入围奖（2014）等。作品入选ISCM 2013国际现代音乐协会斯洛伐克、奥地利当代音乐节、2013“香港华人作曲家”音乐节等。作品曾在波兰、日本、韩国、美国、奥地利、英国、加拿大、土耳其及香港、台湾地区多次演出。其音乐注重声音的运动，追求一个音响在产生前后的状态，瞬间的爆发与消失，用线条与音色构建作品并在其中寻求更为简约的表达方式。
