室内楽作品を中心に海外でも高い評価を受ける作曲家、田中範康の作品集。余韻に満ちた弦楽器の艷やかな響きが印象的な「音の情景」をはじめ、2010年以降の最新作７曲は、いずれも独特の感性が際立つ清新な音響空間だ。第2作となる当盤では、従来のアコースティックサウンドのみならず、エレクトロニクスを加えた作品、雅楽器によるトリオと、多彩な編成で新境地を見せる。ドイツ人ヴァイオリニスト、ケッケルトをはじめ演奏陣の好演が光る。


Noriyasu Tanaka田中範康（作曲／エレクトロニクス、ライブエレクトロニクス）
　東京生まれ。国立音楽大学附属高等学校を経て、国立音楽大学作曲科並びに器楽科（オルガン専攻）卒業。
　作品は、NHK-FM、アメリカ、韓国などの放送メディアや、国内はもとより、ドイツ（ベルリン、ボン、ヴァッサーブルク）、オーストリア（ウィーン、ザルツブルク）、フランス（パリ）、北欧（コペンハーゲン、オスロ）、ベルギー（アントワープ、ルーベン）韓国（ソウル、テグ、マサン）アメリカ（ニューヨーク）メキシコ（メキシコシティ、モレリア）の音楽祭などで、著名なアーティストの演奏により広く紹介されている。
　オーストリアのVMM（Vienna Modern Masters）レーベルから室内楽作品集（Noriyasu Tanaka: Chamber Music）として、1994年にVol. I（VMM2011）、2002年にVol. II（VMM2036）の２枚のアルバムがそれぞれリリースされている。また2001年には韓国作曲家達と共に、詩人＝李承淳氏とのコラボレーションによる、韓国伝統楽器によるアンサンブル作品「暗闇」がCDリリース（韓国）されている。2011年には、2002年より2009年までに発表された作品の中から、代表的な室内楽作品を収録したアルバム「田中範康作品集」（ALCD-87朝日新聞推薦盤）が、2011年２月にALM RECORDSよりCDリリースされ、収録曲の 、 が同時期にマザーアースより楽譜出版された。
　今回のCDリリースでは、オーソドックスな編成の作品だけではなく、エレクトロニクスを加えた作品、さらに雅楽によるトリオ作品などを、国内とベルリンで新たに録音した。
　現在、名古屋芸術大学音楽学部、同大学院音楽研究科教授。日本現代音楽協会会員、日本作曲家協議会会員、日ロ音楽家協会会員。

アレキサンダー・ベイダー（クラリネット）
　ベルリン芸術大学にてピアノを専攻し、その後クラリネットに転向。これまでに、マンフレッド・プレイス、ペーター・リークホフ、ウォルフガング・マイヤーの各氏に師事。1990年、カールスルーエ音楽大学での独奏者試験において、ブレーメン・ドイツ室内フィルハーモニー管弦楽団への入団の招請を受ける。1998年、エコー・クラシック室内楽賞を受賞、2002年、ベルリン・コーミッシェ・オーパー首席クラリネット奏者に就任。2006年、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー交響楽団に入団。2006/2007年度より、シャルーン・アンサンブルのメンバーを務め、現在、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー交響楽団ブレイザーのメンバー。2012年、国際クラシック音楽賞を受賞。

ニコラス・ケッケルト（ヴァイオリン）
　ドイツ系、ブラジル系、一部ユダヤ系の血統を引くヴァイオリン奏者。1979年、ミュンヘン生まれ。これまでに、世界各国にて著名な指揮者、オーケストラと共演。ノヴォシビルスク国際ヴァイオリン・コンクール優勝のほか、モントリオール国際音楽コンクール、サンクトペテルブルク・リアナ・イサカーゼ国際コンクールにて受賞歴を有し、ドイツ人として初めてチャイコフスキー国際コンクールに入賞。これまでにヴァイオリンをオルガ・ヴォイトワ、ヴュルツブルク音楽大学にてグリゴリ・ジュスリン、ケルン音楽大学にてザハール・ブロンの各氏に師事。ケルン大学大学院音楽修士課程を優等で修了。ナクソス・レーベルとの親密な連携関係を築くとともに、受賞作品を含む幅広いCD作品群に出演。国内外において、長年にわたりマスタークラスを含む指導活動に携わる。2011年冬より、ウィーン・コンセルヴァトリウム音楽大学にて教授を務める。ミラノ、ジョヴァンニ・バティスタ・ガダニーニのヴァイオリンを使用。

ボリス・アンドリアノフ（チェロ）
　同世代における最も秀でたロシア人音楽家の一人。これまでに第11回チャイコフスキー国際コンクール、アントニオ・ヤニグロ国際チェロ・コンクールなどにおいて受賞歴を有し、ロシア人チェロ奏者として初めて第6回ロストロポヴィッチ国際コンクールにおいて受賞。また、グラミー賞ノミネート作品を含む多くのCDにも出演。室内楽の分野においても活発に演奏活動を行うほか、これまで、世界各国において著名な指揮者やオーケストラと多数共演。2010年には、東京のサントリーホールにおいて、ベルンハルト・クレー指揮により、東京都交響楽団とエルガーの協奏曲を共演し、好評を得る。2009年、文化分野における功績を称えられ、ロシア政府による表彰を受け、同年よりモスクワ国立音楽院において教授を務める。2005年より、ロシア国有のモンタニャーナ・チェロを使用。

アダム・ウェイズマン（パーカッション）
　ニューヨーク、マンハッタン音楽院にてクリス・ラム、フレッド・ヒンジャーの両氏に、ベルサイユ音楽院にてシルビオ・グアルダ氏に、また、ミュンヘン音楽大学にてペーター・ザードロ、ロビン・シュルコフスキーの両氏に師事。ミュンヘンARD国際コンクール及びジュネーヴ国際音楽コンクールにて受賞歴を有する。ペーテル・エトヴェシュ、譚盾、デイヴィッド・ラング、マティアス・ピンチャー、ヘルムート・エーリンクらの作品の初演に取り組むとともに、ミュンヘン、エスリンゲン、リンツにおいて、劇場音楽の作曲及び演奏に携わる。これまでに、ニュー・ミュージック・コンソルト、ニューバンド、アンサンブル・モダン、クラングフォルム・ウィーン、ツェイトクラツェル、シャルーン・アンサンブルなどと共演。ピエールルイージ・ビローネのソロ作品３曲を収録した「Mani」は、2011年にドイツ、レコード評論家協会による新音楽賞を受賞。これまでに、独奏者として、アテネ、パリ、ミュンヘン、ジュネーヴ、ベルリン、ウィーン、ダンツィヒ、ペルージャ、アルゼンチンのマル・デル・プラタなどで演奏を行う。現在、ロックバンド、「ザ・ダイアトライブス」ドラム奏者。

竹内雅一（クラリネット）
　名古屋芸術大学音楽学部器楽科卒業。クラリネットを小松孝文、山田喜代一、千葉国夫の各氏に師事。フランス・ニース夏期国際アカデミーにてジャック・ランスロ、ワルター・ボイケンス両氏に師事。ベルギー・アントワープ王立音楽院に留学。スペリアルコースにてクラリネットをワルター・ボイケンス氏に、フリー・インプロヴィゼイションをフレッド・ファン・ホーベ氏に師事。セントラル愛知交響楽団、韓国マサンフィルハーモニーオーケストラ等と協奏曲を共演。指揮活動においては、数多くのオーケストラや吹奏楽団で客演指揮や指導を精力的に行っている。名古屋芸術大学ウィンドオーケストラの指揮者として国内はもとより、海外でも公演を行っている。また、デ・ハスケ社より名古屋芸術大学ウィンドオーケストラを指揮したCDがこれまでに10枚以上リリースされている。現在、名古屋芸術大学大学院音楽研究科・音楽学部教授、クラリネット協会・名古屋理事長。

松山元（ピアノ）
　ドイツ・ケルン音楽大学大学院修了（併せてアーティスト・ディプロマを取得）。ピアノをアロイス・コンタルスキー、小林道夫、松浦豊明、外山準の各氏に師事。又室内楽をアマデウス弦楽四重奏団の許で学ぶ。国内はもとよりヨーロッパ各地、アメリカ、中国、韓国等で活発な演奏活動を展開。更に世界各地の音楽祭、国際コンクールの審査員に招聘される等、活動は多岐に亘る。古典より現代まで幅広いレパートリーを持ち、著名なアーティストの共演、CD録音も数多く手掛け、その演奏は国際的に高い評価を得ている。平成12年度文化庁派遣芸術家在外研修員、及びフンボルト大学客員研究員、ベルリン・フィルハーモニーメンバーと共にクラングフォルムベルリンを結成、代表を務める。第28回中島健蔵音楽賞受賞。元ベルリン芸術大学客員教授。現在、山形大学准教授、東京音楽大学客員准教授。

山田敏裕（ピアノ）
　桐朋学園大学卒業後、西ドイツ国立エッセン音楽大学を経て、1981年国立ベルリン芸術大学にてクラウス・ヘルヴィッヒ氏に師事、同大学を首席で卒業。同年イタリアのフィナーレ・リグレ・ピアノ国際コンクールにおいてディプロマ取得。帰国後は、東京・名古屋をはじめ、各地でソロリサイタルのほか、協奏曲では東京交響楽団、名古屋フィルハーモニー交響楽団、ナゴヤシティ管弦楽団他と、室内楽では国内外の著名演奏家と多数共演。現在、名古屋芸術大学音楽学部教授を務めるほか、公開講座、コンクール審査員など様々な教育活動に携わる。

笹本武志（龍笛）
　1966年、茨城県出身。琴古流尺八家元・竹韻社の家系に育ち、東京藝術大学音楽学部邦楽科尺八専攻卒業、同大学院音楽研究科修士課程修了。尺八を笹本宗秀、二世初見宗郷、山口五郎の各氏に、龍笛及び雅楽演奏を芝祐靖氏に師事。雅楽（古典）の演奏を主軸に、数百曲の現代音楽の初演を行っている。正倉院古楽器の排簫と雅楽尺八の製作と演奏を独学で学び、特に排簫はこれまで種々のタイプを製作し、製作・演奏の両面から研究を続け、楽器に負担を掛けずに音を響かせる「ボディボックス奏法」を開発し、復元楽器演奏のトッププレーヤーとして知られている。現在、龍笛・尺八・排簫のプロプレーヤーとして、国内及び欧米で演奏活動を行っており、2010年には、パリのオペラ座「輝夜姫」上演において、龍笛奏者として12公演を演奏した。
　また、自作曲の楽譜やCDが多数出版され、'94年発売の「江戸小町」はその年の邦楽器CDのトップセールスを記録するなど、作曲家としても名を知られている。主な著書に「はじめての雅楽」（2003年、東京堂出版）、「図説雅楽入門事典」（2006年、柏書房・共著）がある。

中村仁美（篳篥）
　大学時代に雅楽と出会い、篳篥・楽箏・左舞などを芝祐靖師、大窪永夫師他より学ぶ。古典だけでなく、現代作品や即興演奏にも積極的に取り組み、篳篥のもつ力強さと、繊細で滑らかな美しさを生かした演奏を開拓している。他ジャンルとの共演機会も多い。リサイタル「葦の声」等で、それまでほとんどなかった篳篥のソロ曲やアンサンブル曲を多数委嘱初演。国海外の音楽祭にも多数参加し、コロンビア大学(米)でも2006年より毎年演奏会と指導を行う。2010年松尾芸能賞新人賞受賞。雅楽演奏団体「伶楽舎」メンバー。CD「ひちりき萬華鏡」「胡笳の声」(ALM)。国立音楽大学、沖縄県立芸術大学非常勤講師。

中村華子（笙）
　国立音楽大学音楽学学科卒業。笙を宮田まゆみ、多忠輝、楽琵琶を中村かほる、雅楽合奏を芝祐靖の各氏に師事。平成18年度文化庁新進芸術家国内研修生修了。「伶楽舎」に所属にし、古典雅楽はもとより、現代の作曲家による作品や他のジャンルの楽器との共演など、幅広い活動をしている。これまでに、「ミュージック・フロム・ジャパン」「ウルティマ音楽祭」「アジア音楽祭」「北杜国際音楽祭」「MITO音楽祭」「サイトウキネンフェスティヴバル」などに参加。

エバーハルト・ヒンツ（トーンマイスター）
　ドイツ、マクデブルク近郊のメーザーで生まれる。ライプツィヒ音楽大学でヴァイオリン専攻を卒業後、ハンスアイスラー音楽大学でトーンマイスター専攻を修了し、優秀な成績で卒業。卒業後旧東ドイツの国営レーベルである〈エテルナ〉に勤め、ヨーロッパを始め世界各地で録音にたずさわる。現在、フリーのトーマイスターとして、ヨーロッパを中心に活躍している。シュターツカペレ・ドレスデン、ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団、ベルリン・フィルハーモニーなどの他、著名なアーティストの録音を多数手がけ、絶大な信頼を得ている。

Noriyasu Tanaka, composer / electronics and live electronics
Noriyasu Tanaka is a native of Tokyo. Mr. Tanaka graduated from Kunitachi College of Music High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in composition and organ performance from Kunitachi College of Music. His works have been broadcasted by NHK-FM and American and Korean broadcasters, and they have been presented by eminent performers in Japan and throughout the world, including at music festivals in Germany (Berlin, Bonn, and Wasserburg), Austria (Vienna and Salzburg), France (Paris), Scandinavian countries (Copenhagen and Oslo), Belgium (Antwerp and Leuven), Korea (Seoul, Daegu, and Masan), the United States (New York), and Mexico (Mexico City and Morelia). His chamber works can be heard on CDs, Noriyasu Tanaka Chamber Music Vol. 1 (VMM-2011), released in 1996, and Noriyasu Tanaka Chamber Music Vol. 2 (VMM-2036), released in 2002, on VMM (Vienna Modern Masters) label, Austria, and one of his ensemble works, Kurayami for Korean traditional instruments, can be heard on a CD released in collaboration with Korean composers and a poet, Lee Seung-Sun, in Korea in 2001. In 2011, a CD album with a collection of his representative chamber works, “Works of Noriyasu Tanaka” (ALCD-87), was released on ALM RECORDS and was selected as a recommended CD by The Asahi Shimbun. At the same time, his works, “Twilight” and “Air,” were published through Mother Earth Publications. For the release of the CD album this time, not only works in orthodox instrumentation but also works for electronics and Gagaku trio were recorded anew in Japan and Berlin, Germany. Mr. Tanaka is a professor at the School of Music, Nagoya University of Arts, and a member of Japan Society for Contemporary Music, Japan Federation of Composers Inc., and Japan-Russia Society for Musicians.

Alexander Bader, clarinet
Alexander Bader studied piano and then clarinet at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. His teachers were Manfred Preis, Peter Rieckhoff and Wolfgang Meyer. In 1990 during his soloist exam at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, he was invited to join the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. In 1998 he was awarded an Echo Klassik Award for chamber music, in 2002 he won the job of principal clarinet at the Komische Oper in Berlin. In 2006 Alexander Bader became a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker. He has been a member of the “Scharoun Ensemble” since 2006/2007 and is member of the “Bläser der Berliner Philharmoniker”. In 2012 he was awarded the International Classical Music Award.

Nicolas Koeckert, violin
Nicolas Koeckert, violinist of German, Brazilian and part Jewish descent, was born in Munich in 1979. He has performed internationally with renowned conductors and leading orchestras. The first German prize-winner at the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition and the 1st prize winner at Novosibirsk International Violin Competition, Koeckert has won prizes in Montreal International Music Competition, and International Liana Isakadze Competition in St. Petersburg. Nicolas Koeckert has studied violin with Olga Voitowa, Grigori Zhislin at the University of Music Würzburg, and Zakhar Bron at the Cologne University of Music, where he received his Master of Music degree with distinction. Forming a close partnership with the Naxos label, Nicolas Koeckert has assembled an extensive prize-winning discography. For several years, Nicolas has taught and given masterclasses, at home and abroad, and he has been a professor at the Konservatorium Wien University since winter, 2011. Mr. Koeckert plays on a violin by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from Milan.

Boris Andrianov, cello
Boris Andrianov is one of the most gifted Russian musicians of his generation. The first Russian cellist to become a laureate at the 6th International Rostropovich Competition, Boris has won prizes in the 11th International Tschaikovsky Competition, and International Cello Antonio Janigro Competition. Mr. Andrianov can be heard on numerous CDs, including one nominated in the preliminary list for Grammy Award. Being active in chamber performances, he has also performed internationally with renowned conductors and eminent orchestras. In 2010, Boris performed Elgar concerto with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Bernhard Klee, in Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, where his performance was highly reputed. In 2009, Boris got the Government of Russia Award in the field of culture, and in the same year, he became a professor at the Moscow State Conservatory. Since 2005 Boris plays the Montagnana cello from the Russian State Collection.

Adam Weisman, percussion (marimba/vibraphone/xylophone)
Adam Weisman studied with Chris Lamb and Fred Hinger at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, with Sylvio Gualda at The Conservatory of Versailles and with Peter Sadlo and Robyn Schulkowsky at the Hochschule for Music in Munich. Mr. Weisman has won prizes at the ARD Music Competition in Munich and the International Music Competition in Geneva. Having premiered works of Peter Eötvös, Tan Dun, David Lang, Matthias Pintscher, and Helmut Oehring, he has composed and played music for theater pieces in Munich, Esslingen, and Linz. Weisman has performed with New Music Consort and New Band in New York, Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Wien, Zeitkratzer, and Scharoun Ensemble. His solo CD, Mani, three solos by Pierluigi Billone, won an award for new music in 2011 by the German Record Critics' Association. As a soloist, he has performed in Athens, Paris, Munich, Geneva, Berlin, Vienna, Danzig, Perugia and Mar del Plata in Argentina. He is the Drummer with a rock band, The Diatribes.

Masaichi Takeuchi, clarinet
Masaichi Takeuchi received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Nagoya University of Arts’ School of Music. He studied clarinet with Takafumi Komatsu, Kiyoichi Yamada, and Kunio Chiba. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he studied at the Superior Course of Koninklijk Vlaams Conservatorium Antwerpen in Belgium, where he studied clarinet with Walter Boeykens and free improvisation with Fred Van Hove.
Appearing as a soloist with Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra and Masan Philharmonic Orchestra, he has performed concertos in Japan and South Korea.
As a director of Nagoya University of Arts Wind Orchestra, he has toured several domestic cities as well as many foreign countries. In addition, more than 10 CDs, performed by Nagoya University of Arts Wind Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Takeuchi, have been released through De Haske.
Currently, Mr. Takeuchi is a professor at Nagoya University of Arts’ School of Music, the chair of the board of directors of Nagoya Clarinet Association.

Gen Matsuyama, piano
Gen Matsuyama earned his graduate degree and artist diploma at Cologne University of Music. He studied piano with Aloys Kontarsky, Michio Kobayashi, Toyoaki Matsuura, and Hitoshi Toyama, and chamber ensemble with Amadeus String Quartet. Mr. Matsuyama actively performs in Japan and overseas, including Europe, the United States, China, and Korea. In addition, his activities extend to various fields such as serving as a judge for music festivals and international competitions throughout the world. From classical to contemporary, his repertoire covers various genres of literatures. He has performed with many famous artists and participated numerous recordings, and his performances have been highly acclaimed internationally. Gen Matsuyama was a trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Dispatching Artist for Overseas Study program in 2000, and is a visiting researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin. He formed Klangforum Berlin with members of Berliner Philharmonic and serves as a chair. He is the winner of the 28th Kenzo Nakajima Music Award. Matsuyama currently serves as an associate professor at Yamagata University and as a guest associate professor at Tokyo College of Music.

Toshihiro Yamada, piano
Graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, Toshihiro Yamada studied at Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany and Berlin University of the Arts where he studied with Klaus Hellwig. Mr. Yamada graduated from Berlin University of the Arts at the top of his class in 1981, and in the same year, he earned Diploma di Merito Distinto in a competition, Concorso Internationale Pianoforte Finale Ligure Italy, in Italy. After he returned to Japan, Mr. Yamada has given solo piano recitals in many cities, including Tokyo and Nagoya, and he has performed piano concertos as a soloist with several orchestras, including Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, and Nagoya City Orchestra. He has also appeared in substantial number of chamber performances with many eminent domestic and foreign artists. Currently, Mr. Yamada serves as a professor at the School of Music, Nagoya University of Arts, and he is vigorously engaged in various educational activities, including giving clinics and sitting on juries in competitions.

Born in Hitachi City, Ibaraki prefecture in 1966, Takeshi Sasamoto was raised in a family of the headmaster of the Kinko-ryu Shakuhachi, “Chikuinsha”. Majoring in shakuhachi performance in Japanese Traditional Music Department, Mr. Sasamoto earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. He studied ryuteki and Gagaku performance with Sukeyasu Shiba. Being active as a composer, Sasamoto publishes many sheet music and CDs. Mr. Sasamoto participated the Japan Festival in Great Britain in 1991 (composition), the Olympic Winter Games, Nagano 1998 (ryuteki), and he has given concerts and lectures at Columbia University, New York since 2005. Currently, Takeshi Sasamoto is a member of the Kinko-ryu Shakuhachi, “Chikuinsha”, and the Gagaku Ensemble “Reigakusha”.

Hitomi Nakamura, hichiriki
Hitomi Nakamura (hichiriki) received her M.A. from Tokyo University of the Arts and studied gagaku, hichiriki, koto, and samai under Sukeyasu Shiba and Nagao Okubo. She is a member of the Reigakusha Gagaku Ensemble, and has performed both classical and modern pieces on Gagaku instruments. Active in many performance genres, she has appeared in the premiere of many new works by contemporary composers. She is the founder of the Ashi no Kaze (Reed Wind) Recital Series designed to develop the musicality and performance techniques of the hichiriki, a double-reed end-blown flute, which is rarely played as a solo instrument. These recitals have generated many new ensemble and solo pieces which are recorded in the CD “Hichiriki Kaleidoscope” and “The Voice of Koka”. She received the Matsuo Performing Arts Rookie Award in 2010.

Hanako Nakamura, sho
Majoring in musicology, Hanako Nakamura graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. She studied sho with Mayumi Miyata and Tadaaki Ohno, gakubiwa with Kahoru Nakamura, and gagaku ensemble with Sukeyasu Shiba. Finishing the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs’ rising artists domestic training program in 2006, Ms. Nakamura belongs to Reigakusha and is engaged wide variety of activities, including performing works by modern composers and appearing together with instruments in other genres.
She has participated Music From Japan, Ultima Contemporary Music Festival, Asia Music Festival, Hokuto International Music Festival, MITO Music Festival, and Saito-Kinen Festival.

Eberhard Hinz, tonemeister
Born in Möser near Magdeburg, Eberhard Hinz studied violin at the University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig and graduated the university. Then, he studied at the Academy of Music Hanns-Eisler Berlin, majoring Tonemeister, and graduated with an excellent record. After graduated the academy, he worked for Eterna, a national label of former East Germany, as a Tonemeister and participated many recordings in Europe and through out the world. Currently, Mr. Hinz actively works as a self-employed Tonemeister mainly in Europe.
Having participated many recordings with renowned ensembles and artists, including the Saxon State Opera Dresden, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Leipzig and many others, Hinz is a highly acknowledged Tonemeister.
