毛翔宇（ピアノ）

前作〈ブラームス：ピアノ・ソナタ第3番／8つの小品〉で各誌に絶賛された超実力派・毛翔宇が、
透徹としたピアニズムをもって鮮明に映し出す、シューマンの構築的意思と詩情。

毛翔宇（ピアノ）
北京生まれ、香港で育つ。少年時代に香港演芸学院で音楽の教育を受けた。のちにアメリカに渡り、オーバリン音楽院で学士号、ジュリアード音楽院で修士号と音楽芸術博士号を修得。
リサイタルに於ける、ドビュッシーの練習曲、ラヴェルの「夜のガスパール」、メシアンの鳥のカタログより「いそひよどり」、リストのロ短調ソナタの演奏がサウスチャイナ・モーニング・ポストに「確実な技巧、卓越した構成は感動的な成果を上げた。毛の圧倒的な技量は抜きん出ている」と絶賛され、それ以来、彼は香港と中国の最も注目を集めるピアニストの地位を確立した。
ルドルフ・ゼルキン賞、ジョン・エルヴィン賞、スター財団博士号奨学金、ジーナ・バッハウアー国際ピアノコンクール名誉賞、さらにオベリン大学コンチェルトコンクール、全米音楽教師協会オハイオ・コンクール、アーサー・ダン・コンクールの特賞など、数々の受賞歴がある。
リンカーン・センターのアリス・タリーホールやジュリアード・シアターなどニューヨークのいたるところで行われた毛の演奏は全て高く評価され、オーバリン大学のフィニー礼拝堂とクリーブランドのセヴェランスホールで行われた協奏曲デビュー・コンサートはラジオで生放送され、称賛された。
ソロ・室内楽の演奏を北アメリカ、日本、香港に加え、中国本土、台湾で行い、数多くのオーケストラとも共演。さらに現代音楽の分野での活躍もめざましく、メイン州やニューヨークの現代音楽フェスティバルで多くのソロリサイタルを行った。2017年秋、ダビッド・オイストラフ訪中60周年を記念して、ヴァイオリニストのニン･フェン(寧峰)とともに中国国家大劇院と上海大劇院でコンサートを開催し、話題を呼んだ。
現在、積極的な演奏活動を行う傍ら、上海音楽学院の教授として教鞭をとっている。
師事した多くの巨匠の中でも、ジョン・ウィンザー氏、ロバート・シャノン氏、ヨヘべッド・カプリンスキー氏に対して傾倒している。

Cheung-yu Mo

Cheung-yu Mo is a pianist noted for the poetry, passion and panache of his art. Born in Beijing and raised in Hong Kong, he received early training at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and pursued higher education in the United States. After graduating from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, he pursued graduate studies at the Juilliard School, where he became Hong Kong’s first recipient of a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the prestigious institution. Among the many teachers from whose tutelage he has benefited, Cheung-yu Mo feels most indebted to John Winther, Robert Shannon, and Yoheved Kaplinsky. He is the recipient of the Rudolf Serkin Award, the John Elvin Prize, an honorary prize at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, as well as the grand prizes of the Oberlin Concerto Competition, the Music Teachers' National Association Ohio Competition, and the Arthur Dann Competition. After the success of his concerto debut in Cleveland’s Severance Hall, followed by his electrifying recital debut in Hong Kong City Hall, he emerged as one of Hong Kong and China’s most intriguing pianistic voices.
In addition to his solo and chamber music appearances in North America，Mo has concertized in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Europe, both as recitalist and concerto soloist. He has performed at the Gambit (Maine) and Focus (New York) festivals of contemporary music, the Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, and the Bayreuth Piano Festival in Germany. In 2017, Mo joined violinist Ning Feng in giving a number of recitals commemorating the 60th anniversary of Soviet violin legend David Oistrakh’s historical visit to China. Based exactly on the programs performed by Oistrakh and pianist Vladimir Yampolsky during their 1957 concert tour, their recitals, held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and Shanghai Grand Theater, were received with much critical acclaim.
Mo has made a number of recordings: Pianistic Musings I & II, consisting of works by Schubert, Schumann, Liszt, various Spanish composers, as well as the world-premiere recording of Cui Shi-Guang’s Liu Tian-Hua Impromptus (2000); and “Brahms Piano Sonata No. 3 & Klavierstücke Op. 76”, released in Japan in 2016 and soon named a “Featured Disc” by Record Geijutsu magazine.
Mo currently holds a full-time professorship in the piano department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he also serves as a graduate studies advisor and the piano department’s Director of Pedagogical Research.

毛翔宇（钢琴）



毛翔宇

毛翔宇，生于北京，长于香港。少年时期在香港演艺学院接受专业训练，之后于美国接受高等教育，获殴柏林音乐学院学士、茱莉亚学院硕士及音乐艺术博士学位。先后师从约翰·温特、罗伯特·冼伦及约赫维德·卡普林斯基研习钢琴。曾获鲁多夫·塞金奖、约翰·艾尔文奖、全美音乐教师协会俄亥俄州钢琴比赛首奖、吉娜·巴候雅国际钢琴比赛荣誉奖、殴柏林协奏曲比赛首奖和阿瑟·丹钢琴比赛大奖等奖项，被誉为“演技坚实，能量无限，曲目设计具非凡勇气，令人兴奋不已，势不可挡”的钢琴家。
他在纽约林肯中心艾丽斯·陶莉音乐厅及茱莉亚剧院的独奏演出备受好评，在欧柏林芬尼礼堂和克里夫兰塞维伦斯音乐厅举行的协奏曲首演，被当地电台实况转播。克里夫兰《平实日报》盛赞：“钢琴家毛翔宇演奏的拉赫玛尼诺夫狂想曲光彩夺目，掀起了这次交响音乐会的高潮，令全场听众激动不已。”
毛翔宇近年来活跃于两岸三地、日本、韩国和欧洲的音乐舞台，与海内外多个交响乐团演出协奏曲，还在甘比特、焦点两个现代音乐节，上海之春国际音乐节以及德国拜罗伊特钢琴音乐节中演出。2017年，为纪念苏联小提琴大师大卫·奥伊斯特拉赫访华60周年，与小提琴家宁峰，在国家大剧院和上海大剧院举行了数场音乐会，再现了奥氏与钢琴家杨波尔斯基当年在华巡演的曲目，引发了热烈反响。
毛翔宇录制过一系列演奏专辑。《琴蕴诗魂》专辑I、II，收录了舒伯特、舒曼、李斯特和多位西班牙作曲家的作品，以及崔世光《刘天华即兴曲三首》(2000)的世界首度录音；《勃拉姆斯专辑》，收录了第三钢琴奏鸣曲(Op.5）及八首钢琴小品（Op.76），该专辑2016年在日本发行后被权威音乐杂志《唱片艺术》评为“特选盘”。
现任上海音乐学院钢琴系教授，研究生导师及主科教研室主任。
