ハープ・箜篌奏者、作曲家である佐々木冬彦の、東日本大震災以後の作品を収めたアルバム。自身の人生、震災による被害が投影された音の一つ一つには、いのちをめぐるあらゆる辛苦とその浄化への心からの祈りが聴こえてくる。やがて天に昇華され浄化される魂の、むきだしの叫びと慰めが、背後にこの上なく美しく流れるメロディとともに、謳い上げられる。

佐々木冬彦（ハープ、箜篌）
1987年東京藝術大学音楽学部卒業、1990年同大学院修士課程修了。在学中、作曲を松村禎三、黛敏郎他の各氏に、ハープを篠崎史子氏に師事。現在は作曲家として、またハープ奏者としてソロ、アンサンブル、オーケストラなどで幅広く活躍中。また復元された古代アジアの大型ハープ「箜篌」（くご/原物は奈良正倉院収蔵）の演奏家の第一人者としても国内や海外での公演、音楽祭、録音等に数多く出演している。1992年アメリカ「アスペン音楽祭」、1998年香港「アジア音楽祭」および「循環するシルクロード」中国公演、2002年スイス「第8回世界ハープ・コングレス」「ジュネーヴの夏音楽祭」、2003年フランス「東西の出会い」（パリ日本文化会館）、2004年アメリカ「ミュージック・フロム・ジャパン30周年記念公演」（ニューヨーク・カーネギーホール、ワシントンDC・ケネディセンター他）等に出演。2012年2月にニューヨークで開いたリサイタル「箜篌の響き」（MFJ2012公演）はNYタイムズ紙に高く評価された。そこで初演された福島県飯舘村に捧げられた委嘱作「ひとであるあかしとして」は朝日新聞のコラムで「時空を超えた曲」と絶賛された。1990年～1993年、白根桃源郷ハープ・フェスティバル音楽監督。1995年福井ハープ音楽賞第2回国際作曲コンクール優秀作曲賞受賞。主なCDは、ハープ・ソロ・アルバムに「主よ、人の望みの喜びよ」（1996）、「祈り・音楽・海」（1999）、「RESURRECTION WITH YOU」（2009）。「甦る古代の響き～箜篌」（1999 ALM Records）はレコード芸術誌特選盤に選ばれた。


宮野陽子　（ヴァイオリン）
東京藝術大学附属音楽高校、東京藝術大学音楽学部卒業。在学中、安宅賞を受賞。1988年、ロッテルダム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の第1ヴァイオリン奏者として渡欧。オランダ在住中、オランダ・アルクマール音楽祭に参加。室内オーケストラ、室内楽などの活動も行う。
1996年帰国。後進の指導のかたわら、ソロ、室内楽、オーケストラや弦楽アンサンブルのコンサートミストレスとして演奏活動を行っている。
天満敦子、原田幸一郎、角道かほる、ウラディーミル・デュフェック、ジグムント・ニッセルらに師事。現在、東邦音楽大学教授。


市坪俊彦　（ヴィオラ）
東京藝術大学附属音楽高校、東京藝術大学を経て同大学院修了。在学中安宅賞を受賞。現在は定期的なリサイタル開催のほか、澤クヮルテット、紀尾井ホール室内管弦楽団、東京クライスアンサンブルのメンバーをつとめる。
また国内主要オーケストラに客演首席奏者として度々招かれるほか、ソロ、室内楽、オーケストラの分野で幅広い活動を行っている。
近年は南西ドイツフィルとの共演や、イタリア・クープラ音楽祭への参加等、活動の幅を広げている。
現在、東京藝術大学准教授、沖縄県立芸術大学、桐朋芸術短期大学非常勤講師。


伊藤えり（笙）　
東京藝術大学音楽学部楽理科卒業。多忠麿、芝祐靖、多忠輝、松井北斗、宮田まゆみの各氏に師事。1986年より東京楽所に参加、「芸術祭祝典～武満徹・もうひとつの世界」（国立劇場、天皇皇后両陛下ご観覧）、「東京の夏音楽祭・舞楽法会」（サントリーホール）などに出演。
2009年、チャリティーのためのCD「祈りの海へ・・・」をリリース、ソロ活動を本格的に開始。以後、和洋楽器のみならず中国の琵琶や笙、ヴォーカル、二胡、書、墨絵パーフォーマンス、朗読、現代美術やパントマイムなど、ジャンルを問わず、様々な形で共演を重ねている。

Fuyuhiko Sasaki
Fuyuhiko Sasaki, composer and harpist received his B.A. and M.A. from Tokyo University of the Arts where he studied composition under Toshiro Mayuzumi and Teizo Matsumura, and harp under Ayako Shinozaki. Widely active as a soloist, ensemble, and orchestra harpist in the western tradition, he is the preeminent performer on the ancient kugo harp, a replication of the Japanese eighth-century instrument in the Shôsôin Repository Collection. His recital in New York City “Kugo Resonance” presented by Music From Japan 2012 Festival was highly praised by the New York Times. He served as Music Director of the Shirane Tôgenkyô Harp Festival from 1990 until 1993 and received the Excellent Composer Prize at the Second International Fukui Harp Music Competition in 1995. He has released 4 CD albums of harp: Jesus bleibet meine Freude, Dona Nobis Pacem, Resurrection with You, and About Love. In addition, Kugo, Ancient Resonance Reborn received an “Outstanding CD” award from the review The Record Geijutsu (Recorded Art).

Yoko Miyano, violin
Yoko Miyano is a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts (and before that, its affiliated high school), where she received the Ataka Prize. In 1988, she moved to Europe to join the first violin section of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. While in the Netherlands, she also performed chamber music, played in chamber orchestras, and performed at the Alkmaar Music Festival. She returned to Japan in 1996 to begin work as a teacher, soloist, chamber artist, and concertmaster of orchestras and string ensembles. She has studied with Atsuko Temma, Koichiro Harada, Kahoru Kakudo, Vladimir Dufek, Siegmund Nissel and others. She is currently a Professor at Toho College of Music.

Toshihiko Ichitsubo, viola
Toshihiko Ichitsubo is a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School (and before that, Tokyo University of the Arts and its affiliated high school). As a student, he received the Ataka Prize. Presently, he gives regular recitals and is a member of the Sawa Quartet, the Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra and the Tokyo Kreis Ensemble. He is also frequently called on by major Japanese orchestras as a guest first-chair violist and performs widely as a soloist and with many orchestras and chamber ensembles. Over the past few years he has expanded his range of activities and played with the Southwest German Philharmonic, at the Cupra Music Festival in Italy, and elsewhere. He is currently an Associate Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts and on the adjunct faculty at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts and Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music.

Eri Ito, shô
Eri Ito is a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts, where she majored in Musicology. She studied gagaku, Japanese imperial court music, with Tadamaro Ohno, Sukeyasu Shiba, Tadaaki Ohno, Hokuto Matsui and Mayumi Miyata. Since 1986 she has performed gagaku with the Tokyo Gakuso Gagaku Ensemble. She has played at the National Theatre before the Emperor and Empress in Toru Takemitsu — Another World, presented during the National Arts Festival Celebration. She has also performed ancient Japanese music at Tokyo Summer Festival at Suntory Hall. In 2009, she launched a solo career with the release of a CD for charity, Toward the Sea for Prayer. She not only performs Japanese music but plays with performers of the Chinese pipa, sheng and erfu (Chinese violin), and with vocalists as well. She also performs at a wide variety of other events including calligraphy and sumi-e exhibitions, recitations, modern art exhibitions, and pantomimes.
