マニエリスムの日本の代表的な作曲家、横島浩が、同じく作曲家でピアニストの篠田昌伸とともにハインリヒ・フォン・ヘルツォーゲンベルク(1843-1900)のピアノ連弾作品集を録音。ヘルツォーゲンベルクは、ブラームスとレーガーの間に位置する重要な作曲家で、オペラ以外の分野は大規模な宗教曲から交響曲、協奏曲、室内楽まで幅広く作曲している多作家。とくに「変奏曲」に特別な技巧を発揮しており、今回のピアノ連弾のための変奏曲全曲を世に問う意義は大きい。




横島浩 Hiroshi YOKOSHIMA

才能教育研究会にて片岡ハル子氏ほかにピアノを師事。武蔵野音楽大学大学院(作曲)修了。作曲を池本武、竹内邦光、田辺恒弥の各氏に師事。ピアノを木嶋瑠美子氏ほかに師事。第5回日本現代音楽協会新人賞入選。第58回日本音楽コンクールに入選。第7回日本現代音楽協会新人賞入選。第74回日本音楽コンクール作曲部門第1位、併せて明治安田賞を受賞。1990年には作曲家グループ「TEMPUS NOVUM」創立に加わり創作活動を行う。2011、2015年に作曲作品個展を東京にて開く。現在、福島大学人間発達文化学類教授。福島大学管弦楽団の顧問・指揮者を務める。定期コンサートではピアノ協奏曲を弾き振りし、またモーツァルトの未完成曲補完版を作成し演奏発表する等、知られざる名作の指揮にも努めている。







篠田昌伸 Masanobu SHINODA

東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科卒業、同大学院修士課程修了。作曲を尾高惇忠、土田英介、ピアノを播本枝未子、大畠ひとみの各氏に師事。 第22、27回日本交響楽振興財団奨励賞、第74回日本音楽コンクール作曲部門第1位、第1回イタリア文化会館日本国内作曲コンクール審査員特別賞、第9回佐治敬三賞、等受賞。2006年Just Composed in YOKOHAMA委嘱作曲家。2011年武生国際音楽祭にて作品が招待される。複数の作曲家グループやプロジェクトに参加し作品を発表する他、著名な演奏家、団体等の委嘱などによっても作品が発表されている。近作では、室内楽「Different tunes」シリーズ、合唱曲「言語ジャック」等があり、ピアノ曲「炭酸」は全音楽譜出版社より出版されている。また、ピアニストとして、新作初演、声楽、器楽とのアンサンブル、ダンスとのコラボレーション、レコーディング等、幅広く活動している。

Hiroshi Yokoshima
Hiroshi Yokoshima studied the piano with Haruko Kataoka et al at the Talent Education Research Institute, and went on to earn a master’s degree in composition at Musashino Academia Musicae. He studied composition with Takeshi Ikemoto, Kunimitsu Takeuchi, and Tsuneya Tanabe, and piano with Rumiko Kishima et al. He won the 5th JSCM Award for Composers and was a finalist in the 58th Music Competition of Japan. He won the 7th JSCM (Japan Society for Contemporary Music) Award for Young Composers and won first prize in the composition section, along with the Meiji-Yasuda Award, at the 74th Music Competition of Japan. He began his career as a composer in 1990 when he established the composers’ group “Tempus Novum”, and concerts featuring his works were held in Tokyo in 2011 and 2015. At present he is a professor of human development and culture at Fukushima University and is the conductor of the university orchestra. He conducts piano concertos from the keyboard at subscription concerts, performs his own reconstructions of incomplete works by Mozart, and endeavors to conduct little-known works.

Masanobu Shinoda
Masanobu Shinoda completed both undergraduate and graduate studies in composition at Tokyo University of the Arts. He studied composition with Atsutada Otaka and Eisuke Tsuchida, and piano with Emiko Harimoto and Hitomi Ohata. He has won numerous awards and prizes, such as the 22nd and 27th Japan Symphony Foundation Encouragement Awards, first prize in the composition section of the 74th Music Competition of Japan, the special jury award at the 1st Italian Institute of Culture Japanese Composition Competition, and the 9th Keizo Saji Prize. In 2006 he was the official composer for ‘Just Composed in Yokohama’, and his compositions were chosen for performance at the 2011 Takefu International Music Festival. He has published numerous works as a participant in various projects and composers’ groups, and has been commissioned by famous musicians and ensembles. Recent works, all published by the Zen-On Music Company, include the ‘Different tunes’ series of chamber works, the choral piece ‘Hijacking Logos’ and the piano piece ‘Carbonic Acid’. He is also active as a pianist giving first performances of new compositions, performing with vocal and instrumental ensembles, collaborating with dancers and making recordings.
