新井伴典のソロアルバム第4弾は、亡き父が好んで弾いた曲や、父から教えを受けた曲を中心とした定番の“スペインもの”。かつてモレノ・トローバ《スペインの城》の全曲録音を発表した新井ならではの板についたスペイン流儀と、自身の音楽ルーツへの旅を楽しむ新井の心が重なる演奏である。父の遺した銘器「バルベロ・イーホ1970年」とともに。

新井伴典
東京、渋谷生まれ。6才よりギターを父、和夫に師事。ジュニアギターコンクール・学生ギターコンクール・第6回スペインギター音楽コンクールで優勝し、92年ドイツ国立ケルン音楽大学入学。2000年ドイツ国家演奏家資格コース終了。ドイツ滞在中にヨーロッパ各地の主なコンクールで入賞する。現在までに原 善伸、佐々木 忠、ゾーラン・デュキッチ、トーマス・ミュラー＝ぺリングに師事。ALM RECORDSより3つのソロアルバム「アブリール（2005年）」「スペインの城（2006年）」「シンプル・エッセンス（2011年）」はいずれも『レコード芸術』誌にて特選盤に選出、GGレーベルよりアルポリール・ギタートリオ「アルポリズム（2006年）」、ウッドノートスタジオレーベルより松田弦とのギターデュオ「夏の列島（2011年）」、宮下仁司とのギターデュオ「夏国のアクア（2014年）」をリリース。2016年4月にはオクタヴィアレコードよりフルート奏者の上野由恵とのアルバム「ピレネーを越えて」を発表。同年8月には一人の作曲家に光を当てる”ワン・コンポーザー・シリーズ”の第1弾として「ジャック・イベール作品集」を松田弦と共にリリース。2013年と2015年はJELA（日本福音ルーテル社団）主催の” 世界の子ども支援チャリティコンサート”にフルート奏者の上野由恵と出演し全国12ヶ所のツアーを行う。現在までにドイツ、ポーランド、オーストリア、イタリア、チェコ、ベルギー、フランス、タイ、フィリピン、インドネシア、ネパール、ベトナム、韓国で演奏。後進の指導にも努め、門下生の入賞歴は140を超える。上野学園大学クラシックギター科非常勤講師（大学、短大、高校、中学）。現代ギターGG学院講師。

Tomonori Arai was born in Shibuya, Tokyo. He started his guitar studies at the age of six with his father Kazuo Arai. In 1991, he began to take lessons with Yoshinobu Hara. Tomonori won First Prize at the Junior Guitar Competition, the Student Guitar Competition, and the Spanish Guitar Music Competition. In 1992, he entered Cologne Music University where he received his diploma in 1998. He continued his studies in Aachen and finished his Concert Examination in 2000. During his stay, he also studied with Tadashi Sasaki, Zoran Dukic, and Thomas Muller-Pering. Tomonori has won many prizes at numerous guitar competitions. His recordings include solo CDs, “Abrir” “Castillos de España” “Simple Essence,” guitar trio “Harpo Rhythm, and guitar duo “The Summer Islands” (Wood note studio, 2011 ) with Gen Matsuda and “Aqua in Summer Countries” (2014) with Hitoshi Miyashita. In April 2016 flute and guitar duo album “Beyond the Pyrenees” with Yoshie Ueno was released from Octavia Records. In August of the same year, Arai started to release series of concept albums which sheds light on single composer, so called “One Composer Series.” First of those albums is “Jacques Ibert works for guitar” recorded with Gen Matsuda. From 2013 to 2015 he performed in 12 different regions around Japan with flutist Yoshie Ueno for JELA (The Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association) sponsored charity event “child support charity concert of the world.” Arai has held recitals in Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Thailand, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, and the Philippines. He is presently teaching in Ueno Gakuen University and the Gendai Guitar Academy.
