リヒャルト・シュトラウス生誕150年!
北海道を拠点に活動するドイツ出身のチェリスト、フリーデリケ・キーンレが、盟友である山田陽子とともに深遠なるロマン派の音楽世界を紡ぎ出す。若き日のシュトラウスのエネルギーがほとばしるソナタ、未完ながらも時としてロシアの薫りを漂わせるボロディンのソナタ(当盤では、M・ゴルトシュタインによる補作版を収録)のほか、チェリストにとって欠かすことのできないアンコール・ピース2篇を収録。


Friederik Kienle & Yoko Yamadaフリーデリケ・キーンレ(チェロ)
シュトゥットガルト(独)生まれ。ハノーヴァー音楽大学、ミラノ・ヴェルディ国立音楽院、フィエーゾレ音楽院、トロッシンゲン音楽大学などで学ぶ。チェロをK. Heitz、R. Filippini、D. Geringas、原田禎夫の各氏に師事。ドイツ国内外の多くのコンクールで優勝・受賞。またタングルウッド音楽祭等、様々な重要音楽祭に参加。2007年から北海道教育大学岩見沢校に勤務、チェロと室内楽の授業を担当しながら、ヨーロッパと日本各地で演奏会を開催。また2011年以降指揮の研鑽を積み、自ら発足させたヤング・ホッカイドウ・フィルハーモニー(YHP)を率いてベートーヴェンの交響曲全曲演奏を行うほか、オペラの指揮も開始している。


山田陽子(ピアノ)
北海道北広島市出身。東京音楽大学付属高校、東京音楽大学(共にピアノ演奏家コース)卒業。東京音楽大学大学院修了。フランクフルト音楽大学、トロッシンゲン音楽大学大学院にて学ぶ。DAAD奨学生。ピアノを谷本聡子、宮崎和子、弘中孝、C. Vickers、R. Beckerの各氏に師事。室内楽を土田英介、A. Merkle各氏に師事。ボーフムでベートーヴェンフェストに参加した他、ドイツ、オーストリア、ウクライナ各地でリサイタルを開催。これまで札幌交響楽団、ヤング・ホッカイドウ・フィルハーモニーと共演。ソロ・室内楽・伴奏の演奏活動を幅広く行いながら、後進の指導にも携わる。現在、北海道文化財団HAFアーティスト。2011年度北広島市文化賞奨励賞受賞。

Friederik Kienle & Yoko YamadaFriederike Kienle cello
Born in Stuttgart, Friederike Kienle studied music at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi, Scuola Musica Fiesole and Trossingen University of Music where her cello teachers have been K. Heitz, R. Filippini, D. Geringas and S. Harada. She has been prizewinner at many German and international competitions and has taken part in many major music festivals including the Tanglewood Music Festival.
Since 2007 she teaches the class of cello and chamber music at Hokkaido University of Education, and also gives concerts in both Europe and Japan. She has been studying conducting since 2011 and has conducted a complete cycle of Beethoven’s symphonies with the Young Hokkaido Philharmonie (YHP), which she founded. She has also begun conducting operas.


Yoko Yamada piano
Born in Kitahiroshima in Hokkaido, Yoko Yamada graduated from the piano performance course at Tokyo College of Music High School and subsequently at Tokyo College of Music. She also gained a postgraduate degree there. She furthered her studies at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and postgraduate course at Trossingen University of Music. She was awarded the DAAD Research Fellowship. She studied the piano with S. Tanimoto, K. Miyazaki, T. Hironaka, C. Vickers and R. Becker, and chamber music with E. Tsuchida and A. Merkle.
Yoko Yamada has taken part in the Beethovenfest in Bochum, and also given recitals in Germany, Austria and the Ukraine. As soloist, she has performed with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra and Young Hokkaido Philharmonie. She is now active as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist as well as teacher. Currently Yoko Yamada is an artist of the Hokkaido Arts Foundation. In 2001, she was awarded the Arts Encouragement Prize of Kitahiroshima City.
