前作「バッハ✕ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバ」に続いて小池香織が贈るのは、バッハと同時代の大家テレマンによるヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバのための組曲・ソナタ・協奏曲を集めた一枚。伸びやかに歌いあげるソロ・ソナタをはじめ、実力派の共演者陣と交わす音楽的対話とともに躍動する舞曲から抒情的楽章まで、テレマンがこの楽器に見出した本性と魅力を多角的に聴かせる。

小池香織　ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバ
長野県伊那市出身。東海大学教養学部芸術学科卒業、同大学大学院芸術学研究科修士課程修了。ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバを志水哲雄氏に師事。第74回読売新聞社主催新人演奏会に出演。2005年、ヘルムート・リリング率いるドイツ・シュトゥットガルト国際バッハアカデミー音楽祭のオーディションに合格し渡独。2006年、ドイツ国立ブレーメン芸術大学古楽科に留学し、ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバをヒレ・ペアルに、オーケストラと室内楽をトーマス・アルベルトに、音楽理論と対位法をマンフレード・コーデスに、音楽史をグレータ・ハーネンに、通奏低音をアンゲリカ・モシスの各氏に師事。学外ではヨーロッパ各地の講習会に参加し、ヴィーラント・クイケン、チャールズ・メドラム、リチャード・ブースビー、市瀬礼子、ヴィットーリオ・ギエルミ、フリーデリケ・ホイマン各氏のマスタークラスを受講。在学中より「ブレーマーバロックコンソート」のメンバーとしてヨーロッパ各地で演奏活動を行う。一方で受難曲、カンタータ、オラトリオ等でソリスト、通奏低音奏者として招かれ多数の演奏会に出演し研鑽を積む。数々のレコーディングにも参加。2007、2008年にはロンドン王立音楽院へ研修生として渡英。2009年、ソリスト・ディプロム及び国家演奏家資格を取得。
2010年、拠点を日本に移し演奏活動を展開。現在は日本とヨーロッパを行き来し、ドイツ、イタリアなど数々の国際音楽祭に招聘されている。日本では2006年、2010年、2013年、2017年にソロリサイタルを開催。2017年、ソロCD「小池香織“バッハ×ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバ”」をALM RECORDSよりリリースし、バッハのヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバの作品を収める。

天野寿彦　バロック・ヴァイオリン
　東京藝術大学音楽学部を経て、同大学大学院修士課程を修了。バッハ・コレギウム・ジャパン、アントネッロ等の主要古楽団体の公演、録音、TV収録に参加。若松夏美、A.ベイエの各氏に師事。近年はヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバの平尾雅子氏らと共に自主企画公演を重ね、ヴィオロンチェロ・ダ・スパッラやルネサンス期の弦楽器リラ・ダ・ブラッチョの研究、演奏も手がける。サイモン・スタンディジと仲間たち主宰。アルル音楽教室、アイゼナハ音楽院バロック・ヴァイオリン科講師、富山古楽協会講師。

堀内由紀　バロック・ヴァイオリン
　東京藝術大学音楽学部を経て、同大学大学院バロック・ヴァイオリン専攻修了。2018年に博士号を取得。卒業時にアカンサス音楽賞、大学院アカンサス音楽賞を受賞。2012年度文化庁海外派遣研修員、及び野村財団奨学生として渡蘭。デン・ハーグ王立音楽院修士課程修了。2015年伊ボンポルティ国際音楽コンクール第3位、併せてヴィヴァルディの「四季」における審査員特別賞受賞。現在、オーケストラ・リベラ・クラシカ、バッハ・コレギウム・ジャパンの公演・録音に参加。

高岸卓人　バロック・ヴィオラ
　滋賀県彦根市出身。東京藝術大学を卒業後、同大学大学院修士課程、デン・ハーグ王立音楽院修士課程を修了。東京藝術大学卒業時に同声会賞を受賞。平成27年度滋賀県次世代文化賞を受賞。クフモ室内楽音楽祭、パシフィック・ミュージック・フェスティバル等に参加。横浜シンフォニエッタ、オーケストラ・リベラ・クラシカ等の公演に出演している。これまでにヴァイオリンを福田みどり、戸澤哲夫、野口千代光、若松夏美、寺神戸亮の各氏に師事。オランダ・バッハ協会の“Young Bach Fellow”として2019-2020シーズンの公演に参加している。

山本徹　バロック・チェロ
　東京藝術大学大学院古楽専攻及びチューリヒ芸術大学修了。2008年第16回ライプツィヒ国際バッハ・コンクール第2位、2011年ブルージュ国際古楽コンクール審査員賞、ファン・ヴァッセナール国際コンクール優勝など受賞多数。バッハ・コレギウム・ジャパン、オーケストラ・リベラ・クラシカのメンバー、オルケストル・アヴァン=ギャルドの理事及び首席奏者。シンガポール国立大学音楽院でのマスタークラスや東京藝術大学での集中講義「古楽器概論」講師を務める他、2006年に第2位受賞の国際古楽コンクール<山梨>では2017年に審査員を務める。

角谷朋紀　ヴィオローネ
　東京藝術大学器楽科卒業。コントラバスを宮澤敏夫、永島義男、西田直文各氏に師事。その後オランダのデン・ハーグ王立音楽院にてヴィオローネをマギー・アークハルト氏に師事し大学院を修了。特にウィーン式のコントラバスについて調査・研究を重ね、イギリスの音楽雑誌“The Viol”（2010年No.18号）にその記事が掲載される。2011年、デンハーグピアノ五重奏団のメンバーとしてファン・ワセナール国際アンサンブルコンクール（オランダ）第１位、同時に最優秀演奏者賞を受賞。

宮﨑賀乃子　チェンバロ
　東京藝術大学器楽科古楽チェンバロ専攻を経て、ケルン音楽大学大学院古楽科チェンバロ専攻を修了。平成22年度文化庁新進芸術家海外研修派遣員。帰国後、東京藝術大学古楽科の教育研究助手を経て、同大学大学院博士後期課程に進学。フローベルガーの「組曲」を中心に研究し、2019年に博士号（音楽）を取得。第2回台東区長賞を併せて受賞。これまでにチェンバロを辰巳美納子、鈴木雅明、大塚直哉、シェティル・ハウグサンの各氏に、室内楽をコンラート・ユングヘーネル氏に師事。演奏活動の他、体験講座や後進の指導などチェンバロ音楽の普及にも力を入れている。日本チェンバロ協会所属。国立音楽大学非常勤講師。

Kaori Koike, viola da gamba
Born in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, Koike graduated from Tokai University Department of Arts and subsequently gained her master’s degree at its graduate school. She studied the viola da gamba with Tetsuo Shimizu. She was selected to perform in the 74th Yomiuri Newcomers’ Concert.
In 2005, she won an audition to join Helmuth Rilling’s Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart and moved to Germany. In 2006, she entered the Early Music department of Hochschule für Künste Bremen, studying the viola da gamba with Hille Perl, orchestra and chamber music with Thomas Albert, music theory and counterpoint with Manfred Cordes, music history with Greta Haenen, and basso continuo with Angelika Moths. Outside college, she participated in courses throughout Europe and attended masterclasses by Wieland Kuijken, Charles Medlam, Richard Boothby, Reiko Ichise, Vittorio Ghielmi, and Friederike Heumann.
While still at college, Koike became a member of the Bremer Barock Consort, performing throughout Europe. She has also been invited to perform the solos and continuo in Bach’s Passions, cantatas and oratorios, and has taken part in many recordings. In 2007 and 2008, she was a fellow of the Royal College of Music in London. In 2009, she gained her Solo Diploma and National Qualification degree.
Koike returned to Japan in 2010 where she is now active as a performer. She plays regularly in Japan as well as Europe, and she has been invited to many international festivals in Germany and Italy. She has given solo recitals in 2006, 2010, 2013 and 2017. In 2017, she released “BACH×VIOLA DA GAMBA” (ALM Records), a solo album consisting of J.S. Bach’s works for viola da gamba.

Toshihiko Amano baroque violin
Amano graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, where he also gained his master’s degree. He studied baroque violin with Natsumi Wakamatsu and Amandine Beyer. He performs with major early music groups such as Bach Collegium Japan and Anthonello in concert, recordings and TV broadcasts. In recent years, he has produced a series of concerts with viola da gamba player Masako Hirao and others, and is engaged in the research and performance of the violoncello da spalla and lira da braccio. Amano is the organizer of the “Simon Standage and Friends” project. He teaches baroque violin at Arles Music School and Eisenach Music Academy, and is lecturer at Toyama Early Music Society.

Yuki Horiuchi baroque violin
After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, Yuki Horiuchi gained her master’s degree in baroque violin at its graduate school. In 2018, she gained her doctoral degree. She was twice awarded the Acanthas Award, which is granted to music students who graduate with the highest ranking. In 2012, she went to study in the Netherlands with scholarships from the Agency of Cultural Affairs Oversea Study Program and the Nomura Foundation. She completed the master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. At the Premio Bonporti International Competition in 2015, she was awarded third prize, as well as Special Jury Prize for her performance of Vivaldi’s The Seasons. Currently she performs with Orchestra Libera Classica and Bach Collegium Japan in concert and recordings.

Takuto Takagishi baroque viola
Takagishi was born in Hikone City in Shiga Prefecture. After studying at Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school, he gained his master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Awards include Doseikai Award and Shiga Prefecture Next Generation Cultural Award. He has participated in festivals such as the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival and the Pacific Music Festival. He performs regularly with Yokohama Sinfonietta and Orchestra Libera Classica. Takagishi studied violin with Midori Fukuda, Tetsuo Tozawa, Chiyoko Noguchi, Natsumi Wakamatsu, and Ryo Terakado. He has performed with the Netherlands Bach Society in the 2019/20 season as its Young Bach Fellow.

Toru Yamamoto baroque cello
Yamamoto specialized in baroque cello at the graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts and at Zuericher Hochschule der Kuenste. Awards include second prize at the 16th International Bach-Leipzig Competition in 2008, honorable mention at the International Competition Musica Antiqua Bruges in 2011, and first prize at the International Van Wassenaer Competition. He is member of Bach Collegium Japan and Orchestra Libera Classica, and founding member and cello principal of L'orchestre d'avant-garde. He has given masterclasses at the Conservatory of Music in Singapore and lecture series on period instruments at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2017, he served as jury member at the Yamanashi Early Music Competition, of which he was a prizewinner in 2006.

Tomoki Sumiya violone
Tomoki Sumiya graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. He studied double bass with Toshio Miyazawa, Yoshio Nagashima, and Naofumi Nishida. Subsequently, he studied violone with Maggie Urquhart at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he gained his master’s degree. His research into the Viennese bass culminated in the writing of an article that was published in “The Viol” magazine in Spring 2010. Sumiya is a founding member of the Den Haag Piano Quintet, which in 2011 won first prize in the International Van Wassenaer Competition. He also received the Best Individual Musician Award.

Kanoko Miyazaki cembalo
Kanoko Miyazaki studied harpsichord at Tokyo University of the Arts and at the postgraduate course of Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. In 2010, she received a grant from the Agency for Cultural Affairs Overseas Study Program for Artists. After her return to Japan, Miyazaki took up the post of research assistant at Tokyo University of the Arts, while also pursuing a doctor’s degree. In 2019, she gained her doctorate in music with her research on Froberger’s suites. She also received the Taito City Mayor Award. She studied the harpsichord with Minako Tatsumi, Masaaki Suzuki, Naoya Otsuka, and Ketil Haugsand, and chamber music with Konrad Junghänel. In recent years, she is committed to promoting the harpsichord through teaching and experience courses. She is a member of the Japan Harpsichord Society, and lecturer at Kunitachi Music College.
